Agriculture

In the early 1990s, Francesco Clerico decided to return home to “his” Langhe. The farmhouse stands right on the border between Barolo and Monforte.

He renovated the winery and bought vineyards located in some of the most important cru of the area; he devoted himself, among the first in the area, to the production of Barbera, Dolcetto, Nebbiolo and Barolo from certified organic cultivation.

The approach to agriculture is from the start simple and sincere, that of the true and authentic farmer who loves his land and his rows. This philosophy is the same goal that the Ceretto family pursues today as well: a programmatic orientation in which what guides them is respect for the ecosystem and the search for maximum yield from the plant and its health, to obtain wines that express the personality of each terroir.

The role of the winemaker is to accompany the wine by offering it the best conditions to express its character, without forgetting that the life of the vineyard is longer than that of man
